running lean in bank one? any advise on how to fix it or whats wrong? my thoughts were the cat is plugged or the o2 sensor?

 

I would suspect either a vacuum leak (most likely) or the O2 sensor.

 

Post up the exact code the scanner showed. It will help those of us who don't think in words but rather in OBDII codes.

 

P0171 is the code

 

P0171 indicates that you likely have a cracked exhaust header that is causing your engine to think that it's running lean when it really isnt.

Check your header carefully for cracks (especially near the collector).
