Engine Bay Pic Request
I have just bought a 96 4.0 with major misfire issues. Need pics of engine bay looking at coil and plug wires. Previous owner hacked coil plug and no telling what else. I believe the sensor plate under the cap is shot, ordered new one. Any helping thoughts would be helpful. Codes say misfires on all cylinders.

Multiple cylinder misfire? Any other codes stored?
If the coil works the plug is probably correct. What condition are the normal tune-up items in? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc? Ever checked fuel pressure?
There are several here (myself included) that own '96 XJ's, if you need a pic of something in particular, ask.
