Will the 93 4.0 HO be a direct fit for my 89 that has a 4.0 or is there more to it than this?

 

As far as moutnting yes it will fit. But you will run into sensor issues.

It is done a lot so it must not be very complicating.

I have read a lot of threads about HO to Renix. I can't remember all the details but if you just simply Google Renix to 4.0 HO you will get a lot of stuff to research.

If you decide to do it Document everything with picutures and such and submit a write-up. I have two Renix motors that could go at anytime would be nice to have a local forum Write-up.

 

Thanks XJ Stryker I will look it up. I am getting the motor this weekend and will start the build when the weather cools down. Will get everything documented so you have it if need it.
