emergency brake light dosent come on

when i pull my emergency brake my dash light dosent come on? but the dash light comes on when i start it up?

There's a wire that hooks up to the e-brake handle it could of become loose.

Little tiny switch on the e-brake handle mount under the console. Either broken, disconnected or dirty.
