electrical problems??

electrical problems??
I have a 2001 XJ and For about two weeks now probably about 1 out of 10 starts it locks and unlocks on start up also it will idle around 300rpm's until i clean it out or i can let it idle low and some times it will kick up and then run just fine.
Anyone have any similar problems???
