electric fan question
i thought the original one was just fried so i got a JY one for 10 bucks.
I pulled the old one out and then put the new one in plugged the two wires in to the plug in.. and turned ac on. Nothing!
even waited til 210 while ideling . still nothing.
Now i suck bad when it comes to wiring or electrical issues.
I was reading about testing the fan by hooking it up to the battery?
What does that mean? just hook it up to the battery?
also what else should i test.. i swapped the relay fuses with the ac one..whats the chances of the ac fuse and electric fan fuse both being bad?
the ac has never given me cold air.. so i dont know if its even working..
thats one problem different then this one..
Wiring the fan in? again? what does that mean and how complex is it?
Thanks o great CF gods!

to test the fan pull the connector apart run 2 wires into the plug and run them to the battery. I just did this today as my jeep overheated last night and the fan didnt turn on. mine was Wite wire Postive Black wire Ground.
Were is the relay to the fan? I need to check that next and if it still doesnt work I'm gonna replace the temp switch.
