Default Electric Fan Keeps Running

My electric fan keeps kicking on and off no matter the temp. Does anyone see a problem with it being unpluged when the regular fan thats belt drivin is working fine?? Its pretty cold here and I un hooked the coolant temp swith and it didnt seem to make a diffrence it kept running. So im just gonna leave it unplugged and see what happens. Any suggestions or comments would be great Thanks

Get a new coolent temp switch, and start there.

Do not unplug the fan!

If you are using defrost setting on your hvac controls then the fan will kick on allot.

You just helped me out alot man My temp control only blows out of defrost its stuck there for some reason that i'm assuming is a vacume problem. I'm glad you told me that because I just pulled the relay because I was tired of it. After all this I dont think I have any problem at all Thanks

definitely check your vacuum lines, I had a pinched/broken vacuum line did same thing. IT was the one running along the passenger side fender. kinda near battery. A lot of vacuum leaks you can hear if your listening. Otherwise just visually inspect.
Good luck,
Lee
