Curious. Mine works when the AC is turned on but never comes on when the temp goes above 220. I replaced the sending unit with the same results. Does yous come on when you turn on AC or defrost?

You guys need to check or replace your coolant temp. sensor. That is what tells the ECM your engine is hot. The ECM then powers the relay.

mine died the yesterday. TO check it to make sure the fan its self isn't dead you can undo the connector and run a jumper to the battery.

I ran a new 30A relay and wired it to an ACC under the dash so It always comes on as soon as the key is turned. at some point I'll Try and repair it properly, but mine is a trail rig so It doesn't really bother me to have it run all the time.

Its made to operate when ac is on and thats the only time it will come on. I wired mine to a switch so I can run it aany time and when wheeling . It helps keep things cool when wheeling. Best mod i've done .
