I am trying to find out how many cfm the factory electric fan is rated at.Also how many cfm for the mechanical fan?How many total cfm required to keep things cool.I am looking for an electric fan to replace the mechanical one.I have 1997 cherokee 4.0,thanks.

 

a 3.8L V6 Taurus fan will do the job. the stock aux fans arent up to the task, i dont recall the CFM rating.

 

Yes the taurus fan will get it done, with some "hackin" and cuttin. If you up for the challenge then go with the taurus fan. If not, find an aftermarket one on ebay or something and go that route. Good Luck!!

 

Im not really looking for suggestions on which fan to use.I have already found a few that i might use.What i need to know is the cfm of the stock system.I want to keep it close to that with the best fitting fan that I can get.
