Easiest way to add aftermarket temp gauge?
I've got an 89 Renix. What's the best way to add an aftermarket gauge? Can I use the same sender on the back of the head, while keeping the stock gauge? What would be the easiest way to go about this? I have a Renix engine monitor that displays coolant temp, but I would like to know the temperature inside the head.

Get an aftermarket gauge, a thermostat housing from a 91 and later. Use the sender for the gauge you bought and put it in the thermostat housing.
A ton of work for what you could find out by using an IR temp gun comparing temps between the CTS and the temp sender in 3 minutes......
