DynoMax Power Up Promotion - $24 cat back
I was just looking at the Jeg's website and ran across a pretty sweet deal. They are selling A DynoMax cat back system for $99 PN 17463 and DynoMax is offering a $75 mail in rebate. So you get a cat back for $24.
I was ready to swap mine so I jumped on this deal. The muffler alone retails over $50.
From DynoMax:
PN 17463
Cat-Back Exhaust System
1986-92 Cherokee, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Sport Wagon 2.5L/4.0L
Qualifying DynoMax® Performance Exhaust Systems: 17301 - 17495, 19306 - 19450, 39306 - 39450 Series
A pretty good deal if your looking for a cat back system. Figured I would pass this along.

Well it's a pretty good deal...works out to $35 after shipping. I won't feel as bad ripping it off getting high centered or something like that!

I just thought I would bring this to everyones attention to share a great deal.
http://www.streetsideauto.com/produc...l&lsbEngVins=S for the 1993 - 1998 version ( will work on 1999 - 2001, just requires the muffler flange be removed and welded to the replacement muffler ).
Or
http://www.streetsideauto.com/produc...YMM&Reset=True for the 1986 - 1992 version ( this kit should work with a little fab , I just ordered it for my 1998 classic! )
Right now you can order a dynomax cat back, entering coupon code "performance" for a total of $128 shipped to your door for the 1993-1998 kit OR $89.00 shipped for the 1986-1992 version! Then, you can send in your receipt and get a $75 rebate through Dynomax using this promotion
http://www.dynomax.com/assets/promot...rup_online.pdf
Total price for new cat back exhaust after rebate = $53.00 for the 93 - 98 version or $14.00 for the 86 - 92 version!
The ONLY differences that I can see between the two are 1: the newer kit has a polished slash cut tip and 2: the older kit uses 2 1/2" tube versus the 2 1/4" tube the newer kit uses (both kits are mandrel bent).

Wow an I thought paying $75 for mine was a deal..This is a steal.. If anyone has an older muffler I'd be buying this just to have when the time comes.

I hate rebates, if they really wanted to give you a discount why don't they take it at the register?
They count on people not sending in the rebate, and if they don't give you the rebate, there is nothing you can do about it. Right now I'm waiting for a $75 rebate from BF Goodrich on the AT's I just bought, I plan on waiting at least 3-4 months.

I took advantage of a Dynomax rebate and had my check in less then 4 weeks. Each company is different so please don't bash unless you have experienced it with that company.

smokin' deal! Nice find guys.
May have to order one of these just as a spare, at that price you can't go wrong just to stock up.
Wish I would have seen it earlier though! Not too long ago I ordered a Magnaflow 4X18" muffler and a stainless j-bend mandrel tube and was going to weld it up with a hanger, dumped before the axle.... and I thought I was going fairly budget with that for $65! Should sound good though, and last me awhile.
And I agree, think again before you bash Dynomax. I've had nothing but good experiences with their products, although some of their stuff can tend to rust out rather quickly, but that's expected with mild steel. The Dynomax Bullet's are some of my favorites too, very sweet resonators that have straight through performance and good sound, whether run alone or before another muffler.
Flowmaster is a BIG joke. Just old school chambered mufflers that may sound strong on a push-rod V-8, but have been proven time and time again to actually lose hp in most cases. They are nothing more than high school kid "look at me" mufflers.
Listening to sound clips on youtube can only be done so with a grain of salt. There are so many variables, the exact same set-up can sound completely different depending on camera microphone quality, where the camera was sitting, if the car was in garage, outside, in wind, etc, etc, etc...

Well I hope I managed to bring this to a few people’s attention and they got in on the deal. 4 Wheel Drive mag just ran an add for this same REBATE because I just love mail in REBATES. Ok now I am off to the sound authority "YouTube" to make sure I got my money’s worth.

i had dynomax for about a year, now have flowmaster (50 series) the difference in sound is minimal, flowmaster does sound a little better imo, but not much. The dynomax did however only last me a year before it destroyed itself. But for <50 dollars I wouldn't mind buying it every year...

yes imo dynomax sounds better than flowmaster because i dont like flowmaster cause they sound to rough the dynomax are smoother and me w/a hollowed cat it sounds way better then any flowmaster imo
