Dropping the Transmission Pan....
I'm about to drop the transmission pan to replace the gasket.
How much transmission fluid will I need to replace?

About 4-5 qts...
It is a bit of a PITA to get the dipstick tube to separate from the pan...squirt some wd-40 into the joint to help loosen things up.

Also as a reminder its dex3 lol and if you cant separate the tube, you can always unbolt the tube and work the pan down just enough for the filter (if you did it also) and gasket swap. Its tight but works!
