Is it safe? I need to run to the hardware store to get the right size bolt i need. no more then 5 miles round trip. Is it safe to drive without the stabilzer?

Should be OK but you may have a little wobble on the front when hitting bumps...Tj

ive driven mine for a bit without it. 5 miles would be no problem itll be a little more unstable so just drive a little slower if you have to

You mean the shock looking thing, or the sway bar? You driver forever without the stabilizer, won't hert a thing.

Haven't had a stabilizer in a long time. All they do is hide steering problems and if all is good you'll be fine.

Some Jeeps require them.If they just hide steering problems then why would they put it on when brand new from the factory?Maybe they just like spending more money and making less profit?You know how companies can't stand to go cheap and make money!It's there for a reason.

Mine leaked out all its oil a long time ago. I had minor occasional death wobble when it was good and still have it now.

It seems that the stabilizer does not really do too much.
