Driving while e-brake adjuster removed

Driving while e-brake adjuster removed
So I removed the e brake adjuster assembly last night. About to swap out my brake handle with one that has the button still attached. Going to clean the assembly up at work today. Just wondering if driving without the adjuster will mess up the shoes or anything. I’m thinking probably not but you never know.

You took out the star wheel between the brake shoes? You wont have rear braking if you did. The pedal travel to push the shoes to the drum will be too much.
If you removed the threaded rod that adjusts the cable length you should be fine just zip tie everything up away from the drive shaft and exhaust.

It was the threaded rod with the equalizer lol. It drove fine without it. Almost felt like the rear brakes worked better.
