drivetrain woes
 

i have an 89 2wd cherokee. 4-o.
i went up to my parking lot (freshman in college) a couple weeks ago to let her warm up and run a little. after a couple miles and it had warmed up, i got on the throttle and it revved up, cut out and kept lurching the jeep until u put the clutch in.. it does it warm or cold and only in 1st or 2nd gear. other than that, it runs like a champ.. i havent checked anything on it yet, i just figured this would be a good place to start 4 a first post..

recently replaced relevant parts::
replaced plugs wires distributer cap
new cat,muffler,piping
new oil pressure sensor

im not sure if this is a mechanical or electrical problem. ive had plenty of both.:brickwall:
