driverside door wont lock
 

My driverside speaker blew so i changed it and now the door wont lock, i made sure i hooked everything back the right way. it will lock if i take the door panel off and press lock unlock with my remote but if i put the door panel on it wont move the lock switch please help!!

You have something binding when the panel is on.. i'
d suspect the linkage rod to the door handle/lock assembly is not installed correctly. Did the lock and latch actuator rods get entanled?

yeah look at the linkage just like overlad said. i changed the speakers in my doors about a year ago and had the same problem. come to find out my linkage was jammed up.
