Driver's window won't roll up completely at highway speeds?

Driver's window won't roll up completely at highway speeds?
2000 XJ Sport...
Not a huge issue, but irritating...
When traveling at speeds greater than 70 mph (i have a lead foot, say around 75 to 80 mph), and I've had my window cracked while smoking a cigarette, when i try to roll my window back up it won't roll up all the way.
It has power windows. The window gets moved slightly off track because of the wind, and gets stuck leaving between a 1 and 2 inch gap.
Sometimes if i roll it back down and up right away it will close, other times i have to pull the window back with my hand to get it to roll up completely. Other times, nothing works,and it's just stuck like that until i exit the freeway and try rolling it up again.
WTH?
