Drive train thumping
I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 4.7 V-8 AWD. Recently, after changing the brakes, and having both front wheels off the ground while working on it, it developed a thumping while accelerating on the highway. It doesn't do it at low speeds, only above 50 or so. It feels like the front wheels are slipping power for a fraction of a second. It is not normal, and needs to be fixed. Any thoughts?
