Default Drive chain
Can the drive chain be changed with the tc still in the car. It is a 231j in my 94 country.

If you want to fight everything falling back out once the snap rings,gears, pump and bearings are out I guess you could....but just take it out and do it. It would be a WHOLE lot easier. My 2cents unless somebody has done it without taking it out?

x2, its only six more bolts and the front shaft. then you can put it on a table and work on it comfortably. sure beats laying on your back under your rig tryin to do it.
