Drip rail molding issues

My 2000 XJ has some nasty rust along the bottom of the rain gutter. When u open the doors and look up under the roof edge, it is sad. The FSM states to apply sealant to the inside edge after installing a new drip edge. To me, it looks like water seeps thru from the top of the channel and seeps under the edge which caused my rust issue.

I have found the clips that hold the edge onto the roof seam ( from Team Cherokee), but no online sources for the molding itself. I thought I may be able to salvage one from a JY, but from what I have read so far, they are basically destroyed when pulling them off.

Can a guy still get these from a dealer? I would imagine they would be pricey. Has anyone ever taken them off and put new ones on. I can't find much info on this subject.

Yes, I got new ones from Byers Chrysler Jeep in Columbus, Ohio. They run an online website that discounts mopar parts. I can't remember the address. Something like mopardiscountparts.com...someone should have the web address.

I live near the dealer and scored them for well under $100.00. If you have them shipped, keep in mind they will be an oversized item.
