Dreaded o2 sensor
I recently bought my 2nd jeep first xj... great shape but some wobble and throwing o2 codes... guy said down stream got wrapped around driveshaft. Both look new. Wires appear to be in good shape and but zipped up where they should be.
i found 2 blown 15amp fuses in the pdc under the hood, cleared the codes went for a drive. Everything appears all right, no codes, the sensor readings bounce a lot, but no codes or pending codes. it cant be possible it was just a fuse issue can it. as always any help or adviss is grsatly appreciated |
Yes it is possible that a fuse could have been your problem. But keep and eye on them Jeeps are particular to NGK O2 sensors other brands could give false readings and throw a code.

Most likely wires got messed up on old sensor causing fuses to blow.
