Draining Battery

For the past couple months now my jeep has been having trouble starting. We have replaced battery, battery cables, and tested the alternator to which it was good. But I'm still having troubles. Every other day or so I will have to jump start it because it wont start, it doesn't even have headlights at that stage. I jump it and its good usually for a couple days sometimes less. Is there any idea why my battery is draining or what is making it drain. Thanks in Advance

aftermarket stereo equipment is a common problem for this. if you have something hooked up to a constant power source? One way to truobleshoot is take a digital multimeter that can measure amps, and disconnect battery take a reading and record that then reconnect battery with everything off and take a reading it should be the same as the first one if not then start pulling fuses (a buddy will make this much faster) until it reads the same as your first reading. if it checks out look into the starter and its connections

take any 12volt bulb... with wires.. unhook negitive cable... hook bulb up one side neg on batt other to neg cable... the brigheter the bulb shines.. the biger the draw...start unpluging fuese...when it goes dim.. you prob found it... if you have things like factory clock.. it will always have some draw but very little ....
