Hey everybody. I have an 84 Cherokee that has power doors. The electronics are messed up and I figured it would be way easier to just swap out the doors with ones that are manual. The problem is that I am having a hard time finding my year at any of my local pick and pulls. Does anyone know what years would be interchangeable with an 84? Thanks.

 

any up to 96.
however, your interior door panel may be different.

97 and up will work, but require a bit of work.

What kind of work are we talking here, like changing the hinge assembaly? or trimming. Looking at doing the same swap on my 89 so I can actualy have the windows down

 

not sure on the hinges actually, but the striker changed from a pin to a loop in 97, so you'd have to change and relocate both the latch on the door and the striker on the b-pillar. same goes for the rear doors.
