Door seal or gasket

I need to replace the rubber strip that runs along the front inside edge of the rear door of a 4 door 1997 Cherokee. It creates a seal with the front door and the post when both doors are closed. Everything I'm finding is either for the window glass or is the door weatherstrip. I'm finding parts called belt strips or belt molding that sound right until they start talking about window glass. I've also found some that sound right until they start talking about the front edge or the rear edge; this strip is only found on the front edge.

What is this piece called (photo below), and where might I find one online?
Edited: Is it this? WEATHERSTRIP. B Pillar Secondary.

Thank you for the assistance!

Best I can tell there is no mention of that in my Jeep parts catalogs.
When I first bought my Jeep I detailed it and noticed that I only had one on one side.
I scored the other one at the boneyard. But I had to look at a couple Jeeps to find one that was not torn.
1/2" double sided tape will be used to put it on when you do get one.
Also they are not left and right. Same one for both sides. They are just rotated 180 degrees from each other depending on what door you are putting it on.
Frankly I don't think that does much. But my OCD kicks in for things like this so.........

Ive had 4 jeeps 94, 00, 97 and 95 and none of them had that piece. Never seen one on any parts sites either.

My 98 has it.

I ended up cleaning the factory double sided tape off and repairing my originals to put back on. Honestly these strips serve no real purpose that I know of, it is just my OCD kicking in.

They should cut down on NVH levels by sealing that gap from air intrusion.

My 97 has them. There is one at the bottom of the doors as well. They appear to be the same as the ones along the sides, but i havent really looked them over to be sure. My 97 parts catalog doesnt even acknowledge the ones up top, but it does a strip at the bottom. It shows the same pic as this. https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/part...rips-seal.html

Check the local hardware store for rubber door seals that would probably work. Not sure which doublesided tape is best with rubber. I used 3M VHB (cant remeber the number) for one of mine and it pulled away in a couple days on its own. Both surfaces were clean and temps were in the 70s at the time. Bad roll? No idea. I have no clue what Chrysler used.

Do you have the bottom door ones?
If so would love to see some pictures.
For something like this the regular 3M tape on the small roll in the package at the auto parts store is fine.
But for more important and/or heavier stuff, door moldings for example, I use the VHB 5952.
I am aware of those for the bottom of the door too. But have never seen any on a Jeep.
These are shots of Crist Clappers '87 Wagoneer build that he was nice enough to post for me that I saved to my computer.
Guessing the ones for '97 and up do not look like this. But same idea.

Mine is a 99 and doesn't have the door bottom ones. I used 3M tape on mine but I won't reinstall until after I paint the outside. I have never had any issues with 3M tape.

My 97 doesnt have those brackets. The rubber is glued straight to the door. No pins or clips.

Thanks for that.
Like I said knew they existed but this is the first time I have ever actual seen one.
I figured they were not like Crist's Wagoneer and were glued on.

I just purchased all four of them for the bottom of the doors.
I have been kicking this around for about 4 years now ever since I discovered they existed.
I just said screw it and pulled the trigger. LOL.

Where did you order them from? I woulnd't mind installing them on my daily driver to cut down on more road and wind noise.

Sorry for holding off answering your question.
But I wanted to be sure that they were coming before I did.
Moparpartsgiant.com just cancelled my order.
Not the first time something like this has happened when ordering Jeep parts online from various Mopar sites.
Their website says they have it, you order it, they whack your card, and then send you an email telling you that you are SOL.
So looks like I am not getting them.
Frankly there is probably a mess of generic weatherstripping out there that would work.
We need to get fb97xj1 to show us some more pictures so we can duplicate it as close as possible.
Hint, hint. LOL.
