Door panel removal
Looks like I need to remove the door panel to replace the door check on one side and it looks like the panel needs to come off so that I can replace the mirror on the other side. Appears the door panel needs to come off to get to the trim piece for the mirror, is this correct?
I was at the dealer today getting the oil filter adapter O rings and got a new oil pan drain plug and I asked about those little plastic smack in door pegs that always break or tear up the panel when you take the door apart and he said no longer can get but bring one in and we will match it up. Can anyone tell me a part number so I can find them else where, NAPA, Autozone. |

For my '00 at Napa part # is BK 6653282.
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_6653282 Exact replacement. When you use them give them a squeeze with some pliers. When new they are a little stiff. Also invest in one or both of these: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_5751197 https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_7769160 |
Are the clips the same for a 96
|
Kinda leaning towards no. Take the clip to Napa. They should have this binder with all the clips in it. At least if your Napa is like mine. Not pictures but real clips. Find what you need and go from there.
