yesterday all door locks worked fine. today i took off panels to paint bottoms and use up my left over rust bullet.
i put it all back and right rear door wont lock/unlock like others.
i cut wires and have volts going to the door. the motor reads open!
like it decided to die while i was working on the doors. where can i buy one,the actuator??
having trbl on the net,finding the right one.
anybody do this b4? advice pls..

 

Junkyard is a cheap place to start. I've pulled a lot of parts. My actuator works, But my key does not (turns without any resistance). Ill be pulling lock parts soon.

 

i buy a lot at yards but often i try to buy new electrical stuff, i figure the yard part may be ready to go like mine!.but this might be much cheaper at a yard
