I'm searching for a replacement driver side front power door latch for my 2000 XJ. While searching on the Internet, I've noticed the part number for my XJ is same as the one for '98 Grand Cherokee, part number 4798915AC. Anyone know if they're interchangeable? I'd guess they are, but I just want another opinion to be on the safe side. I don't want to end up getting a part with correct "guts" but with different adapter/connector ends.
