Door hinge
 

Hey guys im need of some help, i have a 92 jeep cherokee and my door fell off... im trying to find hinges for my front drivers door and if anyone could help that would be great.

The hinges off of any 91-95 XJ in your local JY should work fine....and don't pay more than $5 apiece for them.

thanks, any suggestions on getting to bottom screw out of the door? the wrench wont fit because of the frame.

should be a star bit. . . make sure the door is open all the way, you may have to remove the pin in that little helper bar.Maybe I'm just confused by what you mean when you say the door just fell off.

How did it fall off? Did the weld to the body break? I had that happen I had to remove the fender to weld it back on the right way.

the hinges rusted through and the door fell off when i closed it, the problem is with the star bit is that the door and the frame are to close so i cant fit it right and the screw will strip.

They acually sell a tool for that. other thing you can do if you have a torx bit that can be punched out of the socket and use a wrench on the bit. Thats how I got mine off.

see i have tried the torx and its still to big i think i just need to find the hinges but everywhere i have looked the hinges are about 40-60 bucks and i dont want to spend that much mony on them.
