My bro snatched on my interior door handle and it popped. Now it wont work. I've helped fix my buddies YJ before but we cant seem to find the problem on mine. His is a rod and it jumps out of a clip that wont let it release. We have found it on mine and all the clips seem to be attached.

Any ideas?

 

make sure the clips arent broke I had that problem and I just went and got all new clips for my front doors and took it all apart and cleaned and regreased and they work like brand new now. Takes a little time but well worth it.
