Does a slightly overfilled brake fluid res. mess wth ABS?

Does a slightly overfilled brake fluid res. mess wth ABS?
So my ABS hasnt worked since I got the jeep and its the weird Bendix 9 system thats got no booster but a pressure ball instead. Cleaned off the master cyl resevoir and the fluid level is about 3/8 of an inch above the max fill point. Will an overfilled brake res effect the abs system?
