Does anybody have Grand Cherokee siren replacement instructions in French?
I'm an Englishman, living on France; the proud owner of a 1997 Grand Cherokee limited. The alarm siren needs replacing, so, equipped with the new unit, I took it to the very good local garage. But, he is not a Jeep expert, and cannot understand the instructions, which are written in English...I had the part sent from the UK, as the car is a RHD UK model.
The replacement sirens, are, I am assured by the parts company, all the same for most Chrysler and Jeep models, so, if anyone out there has a copy of the siren replacement instructions in French, I would be incredibly truly grateful......
I've tried translating the leaflet, but I;m not getting very far......
Any help much appreciated.

Here in the U.S the alarm is ran through the Jeeps' regular horn. But I'm almost certain on your side of the pond it's actually a separate siren. My best advice would be going on the company website and trying to get a link in French. Just because the siren says Chrysler on the box, doesn't mean Chrysler made the siren.
Hope that sorta helps.

The siren problem
Thanks for all the advice- I finally got the fitting instructions translated into French; they were written in indecipherable English to start with, and the auto electrician who finally got the car to go ( who I doubt actually understood the translation) didn't even fit the new siren, he bypassed everything, so the car drives but doesn't have a working alarm. Oh well, I tried.
