Do they not make wiring harnesses for pre '88s?
I want to install a new radio in my '87 but I can't seem to find a damn wiring harness anywhere. Do they not make them for pre 1988's?
If not, how easy it it to directly wire it to the vehicle?

find a wiring diagram for the vehicle. unless the wires coming from the dash are the same as the radio. i think they should be, but i dont remember, i didnt put a radio in my '87

It aint hard to directly wire it to your heep even if you had to run ALL new wire.
If you rewire everything remember.
WIre your main power into the switch or plces on fuse box for a radio.
YOu need a constant power for your memory.
Antenna
ground make sure it is right
Speaker wiring front to front back to back left to left and right to right
