Default How much vacuum flutter is too much?

I'm hunting down low compression on cylinder #5. Does this amount of flutter lead anyone to think valves or valve seats?

Might be easier to use a bore scope and see if the piston is kaput.

There are vacuum gauge diagnostics on Youtube. Some are pretty good.

That flutter is more like valve guides or seals, not valves.

Edit: If you are concerned about valves or low compression you should do a compression loss check, where you apply around 90 psi to the cylinder (at TDC compression), trap the pressure, and watch the pressure loss, and listen for air escaping at the TB (Intake Valve), exhaust (Exhaust Valve), or from the oil dipstick tube (Rings).
