Do I have to regear?
I am getting a 3" Lift and am wanting to run 31's. will I need to regear or buy any extra parts? I am getting the RC aal 3" Lift kit. I will run 30's if the 31's will cause some problems.

I installed my cross breed RC/Rusty's 3" lift last weekend w 31s. You'll notice a little decrease in acceleration due to spinning more rubber. I just checked my first tank of gas.. lost 1 mpg (going from a 235/75 to the 31). I made a 1" TC drop & 2" sway bar drop brackets.

If not, your mileage is off b/c of the effective change in gear ratio caused by the larger tires.

I have 33s and 3.07 and I survive, I just hardly ever shift into 5th unless I am going downhill or going down a flat highway with little wind
I do want to go with some 3.73s eventually though
