Differential swap

The front is bolt in, the rear axle could be a Dana 35 or a Chrysler 8.25. If you are going from a Dana 35 to an 8.25 you will need the driveshaft out of the donor jeep.

I failed to mention that my 96 rear is a 8.25 and so is the 99. Sounds like it is A direct swap!
My 96 is a AX15 5spd. With the 3:07 Ratio....
and I want better gearing with the 3:55 for towing.
my local yard has the front and rear axles for 150.00 total. (Can’t pass it up)
i wonder why they did not give the manual Jeeps the option for 3:55’s...??
Anyhow...Thanks for the expertise👍🏻
