Diff service
I am about to change the seals and fluid on my 30/35 because they are both pretty leaky. I have two questions
1. Are these sweet? - http://www.jeepinoutfitters.com/scri...?idProduct=343
2. What kind of fluid do I use to replace what is in there?

i use 80w90 for both front and rear, i believe i put castrol in last time.
i hear great things about those lubelocker gaskets, i will be picking up a set in about another 5k miles when i need to change fluids again.

I know you are in Cali and all nice and warm. Will that oil weight be alright for the cold, Michigan winter?

do a google search or look in your owners manual, its either 80w140 or 75w140 that DC recommends for towing, if you want a heavier weight that would be the way to go.

Are they re-useable? $32 for a diff seal? Everyone has their preference and i prefer RTV over anything else. I have a tube of rtv and a circular wire brush for a drill. 10 minute job.
