Default Diff gaskets

Good morning
Lube Locker gaskets aren't available here in the UK and I'm not keen to payŁ40 to import a couple from the States.
Anyone know if the Crown Automotive gaskets are reusable or once only deals?
Thanks.

If you can't get lubelockers then just use RTV. There is no need to use a gasket in addition to the RTV, and it works much better than anything else. Other gaskets you can buy are typically not reusable. Little extra time to clean up things if you drain and replace fluid a lot, but easy to use and makes a solid seal.

I use RTV only also, but I have installed covers with drain plugs as I change the fluid often (in water/mud often) and only pull the covers once a year to inspect. RTV is really all you do need cheap and seals well.

Same here. I use RTV only. Make sure both surfaces are clean of the old gasket, apply and bolt back on. Easy!

Thanks for the replies.
I've only ever used RTV myself, however, the cover is likely to be on and off a couple or more times over the next few weeks while I diagnose and hopefully fix a minor issue.
As much as I don't have an issue with RTV scraping once in a while a gasket will make life much easier if the cover is coming off at least twice in the near future.
