Diff Fluids
I need some opinions on diff fluids. I'm going to change the fluid in the 30 and am getting ready to install an open diff 44 in the jeep. Trying to get an idea of what fluid i should put in those diffs. anyone run synthetics? anyone run dino oil? I've heard good thing about redline oils, but would you run the 75-90 gl5 or the 75-140 GL5? I do alot of highway driving, i think the 75-90 would suit me.?
Thanks guyz

I travel a lot in my xj and did both diff fluids about 2 months ago with royal purple 75W 90 in both and i have d30 front and d35 with locker in the rear and they are doing great since i changed the fluids i totally recommend it.

Im a big fan of Mobil 1 Synthetic 75w-140 for the front and rear axles in Cherokees you want to take good care of. Good ol Valvoline Conventional 75w-90 or 85w-140 is good enough for any Jeep in my opinion also. Both have additives necessary for limited slip.
