Diff fill hole plug - 1996 Cherokee Sport - where can I get one?

Been looking online and the search keeps returning a Dorman one that appears to cross-ref with the OE one with PN 3723687. Not sure I want that one though.

Anyone know the Mopar PN or know where I can order one cheap online?

Thanks.

PS - I have the Dana rear with rubber plug.

saw one guy get a nut and weld the nut to the cover and used a NPT 3/8 holed plug to get rid of his rubber plug

Try www.summit.com or www.quadratec.com. best bet is to call them first...Tj

Do you have O'Reilly or Kragena round? They have them for 2.99. I am sure autozone or NAPA has them as well.

Edit, sorry I did not read the post correctly, the one I found for Oreilly is a Dorman as well. If I needed one I would probably use it. Have you heard bad things about them?

You could always use this as an excuse for a new diff cover.

go to a couple of jy's and look for an older dana 35 diff. cover with the screw drain plug and take the whole cover off and use it on yours. should be around 30 bucks or less.
