Default dies for a few seconds

I have a 95' Cherokee with some miles on it. (318k+). I'll be driving along and all of the sudden it would buck real hard and then go back to running normal. Three times now I was driving and the jeep would just shut off for a few seconds and then return to normal. It's almost like I turned the key off and then back on. Other than this recent stuff going on it runs great. I've owned it since new and I never had any major problems with it.
If anyone can give me an idea about what to do I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

I'd be looking at a couple things. Crank sensor. Coil. Possible ignition switch. Make sure your grounds and battery connections are good and clean also

Mine was the fuel pump. Would just die at 55. After the third time it died I replaced it, cleaned the pump filter (the sock) and the fuel filter. Luckily that was my problem
