Default Did my brakes just freeze?!

So on a couple of the colder days out here in Boston, I've noticed that my brakes have gotten stuck, not quite engaged, but so close that any slight pressure on the brake pedal results in locked up brakes (on ABS no less...), after a lot of brake pumping and a few miles of driving the problem goes away.

It's only been on the days where we've dropped below 23 or so degrees.

Ideas? Once the system is "loosened" up, the braking works just fine, as does the ABS. Brake system fluid is topped off as well.

brake fluid is hydroscopic[spelling] which means it likes to suck up and retain mositure,... could try flushing out the old fliud with some new stuff and see how what goes

sometimes when its really cold here, mine are very sensitive like that at first. i think the fluid and everything just has to warm up a bit. once i drive around a bit theyre fine. unless they keep doing it constantly id say your OK

Awesome, thanks. The first time it happened I though somehow my parking brake had gotten stuck engaged or something, had me absolutely baffled. Are there any fluids that would be immune to that freezing?

A full system flush might be in order though, I'll read up on that.
