ok i'm not new to diffs, i'm just confused. all carriers have gear ratio ranges due to the pinion getting smaller in diameter..i'm gearing a 8.25 29 spline and runnin a detroit and detroit says the locker fits all ratios any one running one?or do you just get thick cut gears...if this is the case an aussie is in order

Not sure I understand the ?. I believe an Aussie (and some others) are drop-in "lunchbox" lockers, the Detroit is not, it will require a full ring/pinion "set-up".
PowerTrax No-Slip, about 2 hours to install, no ratcheting/clicking noise in turns and no ring/pinion set-up.

yeah i get it...detroit says their carrier will work with any gear i don't trust that..if its true then the stock carrier should also take any gear and i will just install an aussie...for 1/2 the money
