Death Wobble?
Okay so I ordered the rustys 3 inch kit today. When it comes in and I can afford some new rubber we are going to install it. I was talking with a guy tonight at the gym and he said that he heard that when I put the lift on the truck it will have a death wobble over 45 mph.
I dont want that. im not realy into trail riding or mudding, I just want to add a little clearance for some 31s for the beach. I dont live far from wilmington nc and I spend a lot of time their in the summer. But it wont be worth it if the hour and a half it takes me to get their I will be shook to death.
I dont know if this is true. Anybody who has this lift that can let me know would be great! Thanks!

You shouldn't have any issues until you lift over about 4.5 i had a RE 3.5 and it wobbled at about 75 or 80 but i balanced tires got an alignment all the regular stuff no problem after that.

death wobble only happens if you have loose or worn steering and suspension components, a bad alignment, and/or unbalanced tires.

also make sure you don't have a bad Steering damper.
my damper was bad so i would get Death wobble at 55 mph and up on any bump on the road.

The steering stabilizer is just a dampener in the steering system, if you have a steering system that is set-up right and all the components are in good condition you can run without a steering stabilizer and not have death wobble
To the OP: check all your steering components, and all the bushings, ball joints and such on the front end if you're really that worried about death wobble. Replace/upgrade anything thats worn and you'll be fine
