Default Death Wobble

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 thats got a bad death wobble. I just put 31x10x50's on it and its made the wobble really bad. I put a new track bar on it and it seemed like it fixed it but the wobble is still there. Before I changed it, my jeep would go ape **** about 45 miles an hour. Now I can hit 45 and it dont wobble unless I hold my speed at 45 for about 25-30 seconds. I also took my steering shock off to replace it but it still felt tight. I took it to the tire shop and they told me it was my radius arm bushing and the sway arm bushings. I replaced the sway arm bushings and the track bar but the issue is still there. Could it be cause the tires aint balanced or maybe the rims themself are bad??? I have already spent too much money on it and I would like to get it fixed soon. If anyone could help me that would be nice, thanks!!!

I would have gotten the tires rebalanced first. Have you replaced all your bushings and mounts?

You said you didn't have your tires balanced? Why not? You need to have them balanced. Tires not being balance can and will cause a death wobble. I do this because I lost a wheel weight on one tire and it went crazy. I rebalanced and it was fine. So, Have them balanced and then give it a try.

And do this as soon as possible. Every time death wobble hits, an enormous amount of stress is put on all steering and suspension components, causing them to wear much faster than normal. So get your tires balanced before you're also forced to replace the entire chassis

I figured that was it when you said they weren't balanced. Glad you got it taken care of.
