Default dash or t-case problems

I have a 1998 xj with a np242 and when i shift into 4wd low it says part time, 4wd hi says full time and everything else is fine. is my t-case not locking in low? or is it my dash board? it was fine this weekend, all i did was light mudding and today i noticed it. any ideas? thanks

4 - Hi Fulll Time -Full Time Light
4 - Lo - Part Time Light

4L is part time that is its locked front to back and you can only drive it on dirt or snow not on the way so you can only us it part of the time unless you only drive on dirt or ice and snow

full time position meaning you can drive it that way full time on any road condition

the full time is for on paved roads that may be icy or have some slippery spots
it allows you to drive on pavement without damaging the TC
never drive on pavement in part time
