I'll save you the trouble and give you a quick run down. Stay away from blocks for this reason.
Stock springs + blocks = bad news (the china sound is his leafs). The whole thread on the forum is http://www.cnyjeep.org/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3448
Add a Leaf is bad as I just had to bastard pack today to get rid of the sag. A bastard pack is a good option S-10 and dakota springs are what I hear of everybody using (some good threads here about it) I just used an extras set of stock cherokee springs I had around, added 2 leafs and ran out of daylight, will let you know what I gain. Shackles is another good option assuming your springs aren't sagging, if they are you need to compensate for that. Bastard pack with 1 inch shackles is popping into my head.
Spacers or new coils are good for the front, but if you do spacers, make sure to get extended bump stops too.
Up to and including 3 inches you don't need to change anything, well not true I relocated my brake line using the existing components, otherwise nothing has changed. Hope it helps.
