Default is a dana 60 to much

im jus wondering if dana44 front and dana60 in back is too much, and id really jus like some input i want to upgrade axl an diff but dont know the best place to start

I thought it would be good but even with chromos in the front 44 I have still broken shafts. But that's me and I don't know how you ride. Tire size will make a difference as well.

im trying to put a dana 60 in the back, dont know what ima put in the front. im gettn 33s and im thinking spacers unless yal know a bettr way to get my tire offset from my body i really dont want it flush. 4in sup lift an 2 to the body. all gonna b done very soon, all at once. any suggst? im a novice an im doing it all myself but with the proper reseach. sorry bout my spelling i typen i text more than type.

4in sup lift an 2 to the body.

Might want to rethink that.

dude you got alot of reading to do about the XJ before you go doing axle swaps... lol... for 33's the stock axles are strong enough.... scratch the idea of a axle swap...

You might have been looking at wrangler lifts......xjs are all unibody

A D60 for a set of 33's?
Overkill.

You'll be dragging that diff on every pebble.

Stick with a D44 or a Chrysler 8.25.

I shaved a good inch off mine and still drag with 35s. The ONLY thing I miss about my D35 is the ground clearance.

min tire size for a 60 is a 37 an smaller and its pointless to swap in. though if its a cheep 60 I'd be more then glad to take it off your hands
