Anyone know the size of bolt for a dana 30hp carrier bearing

I think they're 1/2"-13 SAE8 hex head capscrews - but I don't know the length offhand. Measure the cap boss that it passes through, and add 1/2". Buy that length (if available) or the next full quarter-inch longer (if you get 2-3/8", get 2-1/2" screws.)

Use SAE8 or SAE9 capscrews - socket head capscrews are usually hardened & tempered to SAE8 specs, as long as they're not Chinese (crap, counterfeit.) You have the room for whatever head style you want - hex head, flanged hex, socket head, flanged socket, or whatever.
