Default dana 30 pinion bearing

my front pinon bearing is shot its loud i got new bearings but there was no crush sleve it has shims but there 140$ so i was thinkin if i repace the races and bearing then the orignal shim should work???

SHould get you close, but you still need to set it up like you are installing new gears

My old HP D30 used shims instead of a crush sleeve. I think only low pinion versions used the sleeve.

i did it it was perfect for a few wheelin missions but now its loose. i had it perfect im going to add another washer its like as if the nut is tight to the last thread and the yoke still dont reach the bearing and its 1/16" play. this is commin even my rear these axles are for cars there ****.!!



I beat it and it crys!!

how do u switch that yoke over and i thought htat it was positioned to far to the side ?????????
