Default damaged connectors/wires

I have some wiring/harnesses, that are showing wire through the insulation. Has anyone repaired or replaced any connectors? Rewired? Repinned? I've noticed, more specifically that the wiring harness at my TPS, has wire showing through the insulation at the connector and my fuel injectors, the same. I'd like to get to it, before it's too late.

That link explains it better than I can type. Connectors can be had at most auto parts stores or online of course.

Reuse the connector replace the wire & terminal. If the connector is trashed, junk yard.

The wires are trashed right at the connector.

Guess I am not understanding what you are asking. That link shows how I do it when a connector needs replaced. Wires that have split open need cut back and new pins crimped and inserted in existing connector or a new connector.

Where to get connectors or pins ? autoparts store...orr google, it is not a oem specific part. My TPS has 2, a 3 flat and a 4 square. Injector connectors, simple google search will get ya what ya need.

If you cannot visually identify the connector pin & wire locations, I would attempt to verify them with a multimeter continuity, either way table & write down your results first !
